The cartridge components are placed into a base fixture which slides easily into the station. An actuator switch detects the presence of the base fixture and activates a cylinder to apply pressure to all cartridge assemblies simultaneously. The pressure is maintained for an adjustable time period. Then the base fixture is released and pushed free by spring pressure in the actuator switch.
